Hey all, I’m back with a new series for this week’s Translation Necessary Thursday. It’s “Making Magic: The Sweet Life of a Witch Who Knows an Infinite MP Loophole Volume 01” by Aloha Zachou.

Plot: The plot of this first novel is about the main character Chise deciding to live in the middle of some wastelands after reincarnating into a new world and eventually becoming an immortal witch while stuck in the guise of a young girl and her journey with her created golem companion. She eventually ventures out and starts to impact the lives of people around the world.

Characters: Chise is our main character, with Teto being the second one. The characters we get to meet in this first volume are interesting, but readers need to remember they are reading about an immortal, and that means those who aren’t immortal get left behind in that world. It’s a bittersweet feeling.

Overall: A very fun first entry, though its fantasy adventure story has some bittersweetness.
