Hey all, I’m back for this week’s Synth Saturday with more chapters in the life of Brock and his family. This Fic centers on someone who is reincarnated as Brock from the Pokemon anime and games, who is left in charge of nine younger siblings in addition to running the Pewter City Gym. It’s Chapters 86-90 of “Hard Enough-Pokemon SI” by Viva01.

Plot: This set starts off with an interlude from Mia’s perspective, but it quickly focuses in on some troubles back in Pewter at the Gym. Honestly, this is another really great set of chapters because it shows how Brock’s knowledge changes things when it comes to some regular characters, and that it’s not perfect.

Characters: A certain set of characters make their debut in these chapters and I honestly loved it, which is weird because I didn’t enjoy them as characters when I was younger. This set also deals with other things, and Brock’s changes aren’t always a good thing. I won’t say anything more on that because it’s spoilerific.

Overall: Yet another excellent set of chapters. Really do try this fic out if you can. It’s well worth it, and it’s also better than some regularly published fiction I’ve read.
