Hey all, I’m back with the third entry in a fantasy series about the adventures of Asterios for this week’s Bookish Wednesday. It’s “Rise of the Weakest Summoner Book Three” by J. R. Saileri.

Plot: The plot of this third volume is mostly focused on the party starting off by heading to where Asterios was first found by Kindra, his foster mother, in order to learn more about Asterio’s past. Honestly, this entry’s plot is very good and is much better than the first volume by far.

Characters: We get to meet some rather surprising faces in this third entry. I enjoyed this volume quite a bit because I wasn’t really expecting some of the twists in it, which is a rarity for me, so I won’t be spoiling anything by even naming the new characters.

Overall: A great third book in a solid series.
