This week for Book Series Wednesday I’m covering the second book in the Imp Series. It’s Satan’s Sword by Debra Dunbar!
Plot Synopsis: Samantha Martin is an imp, bound by an angel who allows her to live among the humans . . . as long as she follows his rules. It’s never easy for an imp to follow the rules, especially now that Sam’s brother, Dar, has found himself in hot water.
Plot: The plot is pretty good, although I won’t spoil the story it’s still very hilarious.
Characters: The expanded cast we get to meet in this entry is great, especially the Gate Guardian who happens to have a thing for Sweet and Sour pork. That was one of my favorite additions to the cast. Dar is also great.
Overall: A great sequel, it expands the cast and world and introduces us to the new characters for future entries. Well worth reading.
