Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire is easily in the running for RPG Game of the Year. And now the deadly seas expand to include the Beast of Winter DLC, set on a mysterious expanding iceberg where death literally awaits high-level players.
Unexplored: Unlocked Edition is a slam dunk if you’re hankering for another title in the Roguelike genre, even if it isn’t the most visually appealing game to play on the big screen. The gameplay though is smooth and fun, and enables nearly endless play.
Rainbow Skies is an adventure game that combines tactical turn-based fighting, deep dungeon loot diving, a little bit of Pokémon, and some light role-playing into a fun little adventure whose only flaw may be trying to do too much.
On the surface Ni No Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom seems like a whimsical fairytale, full of anthropomorphic animals, genial sky pirates and a young king coming of age. But just below that surface is a much deeper game and story that is not to be missed.
Man the cannons and hoist the mainsail, as one of the best RPGs of yesteryear comes sailing back with a nautical and pirate-themed sequel. Pillars of Eternity: Deadfire is more fun than a barrel of grog, and should become an instant classic.
Prepare to die, again, as we return to the apocalyptic fantasy world of Lordran in Dark Souls: Remastered. Do modern-day enhancements re-light the Souls bonfire? Or is this resurrection simply another step towards Hollowing?

Developer 11bit Studios have done it yet again, this time combining deep city and empire building, a haunting story, and plenty of surprises into the frozen masterpiece that is Frostpunk. Those looking for something new and cool (or cold) can chill out with this unique city-building experience.
Moonlighter is a wonderful game that stands as yet another testament to not all Kickstarter projects being bad. The marriage of dungeon diving and running a shop works incredibly well and the love put into the game shines through with the graphics and audio.
