Hey all, I’m back with the fourteenth volume of Yuna’s journeys for this week’s Translation Necessary Thursday. It’s “Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear Volume 14” by Kumanano, continuing with our long running coverage of this series.
Plot: This volume begins with Yuna reporting the success of her quest in Dezelt to the king. But the plot moves on pretty quickly to another event Yuna had planned prior, which was taking the orphans and her employees to the coastal town of Mileela for a day at the beach. It’s a fun volume. While it is less action packed, it’s still a fun adventure.
Characters: We don’t get to meet any new characters that I can recall, but that’s not surprising given that Yuna isn’t traveling to somewhere new this time. Yuna is still the star of the show, but plenty of other older characters show up.
Overall: A great fourteenth volume. While less action packed, it does set up Yuna for more adventures, which is great.
