Hey all, I’m back with the sequel to one of my favorite Fics, “Gundam Wing: Journey to a New Battlefield,” for this week’s Synth Saturday. It’s Chapters 1-5 of “Gundam Wing: Destiny’s Call” by operation.meteor.
Plot: This picks up right after the final scene of the previous Fic, with Heero now en route to Armory One in the L4 Point. I won’t spoil the surprise of what goes on, but things take a very different turn from the original canon.
Characters: I can’t exactly say who my favorite newcomer is because it’s super spoilerific, but I will say that the characters are awesome, and the newcomers make just as big a splash in the Cosmic Era as Heero did. There are a couple original characters, although they are based off some characters from a series. I won’t spoil which one, but it’s not the same series as other original characters were based off of in “Gundam Wing: Journey to a New Battlefield.”
Overall: A very solid introduction to this sequel Fic, and I enjoy it greatly. Frankly, I can’t say more without it being a huge spoiler.
For those who like: Gundam, Action, Adventure, Drama, Political Intrigue, Romance, Excellent Plot, and Great Characters.
Not for those who don’t like: Any of the above.
