Millions have been thrilled by his portrayal of the “God of Thunder” in the Thor and Avengers franchise blockbusters. Now, fans can meet Chris Hemsworth in person as Wizard World, Inc. and Rose Tours today announced the Dec. 3rd addition of the superstar to the celebrity roster aboard the first ever Wizard World Cruise. The cruise itself will be a pop-culture, comic con themed, three-night adventure on the Norwegian Sky, December 2-5, sailing from Miami, Florida to Nassau, Bahamas.
Hemsworth, already an extremely popular guest at several Wizard World comic cons, will be joined on the cruise by Norman Reedus (The Walking Dead) and others, as well as an Artist Alley with noted comics creators, cosplay contests, exhibitors, parties, video game tournaments and more. Additional celebrities and creators to appear aboard Wizard World Cruise will be announced in the coming weeks.

One of Hollywood’s fastest rising stars, Hemsworth was first introduced to U.S. audiences in Star Trek in 2009. In addition to the role of Thor in the Marvel franchises, Hemsworth also starred as the Huntsman in Universal’s big revisionist fairy tale Snow White and the Huntsman and will reprise that role in The Huntsman: Winter’s War, set to be released this month. He will also be seen this Summer as part of an all-star cast in the new reboot of Ghostbusters.
A variety of Wizard World Cruise packages will be available, starting at $749.00 per person. The base package includes photos with Chris Hemsworth, Norman Reedus and at least one other celebrity, all meals onboard as well as open bar, a special cruise-only gift item and access to all Wizard World events on the ship. The Norwegian Sky also features a casino, spa, full gym, basketball/volleyball court, arcade, 10 bars (all included), four restaurants (included) and three of Norwegian’s famed specialty restaurants.
