Slingo Hires Coray Seifert For Development

Expanding upon an already strong development team, Slingo, Inc., one of the leading cross-media gaming companies worldwide, today announced it has appointed games industry veteran Coray Seifert as its new Director of Product Development. Mr. Seifert will be responsible for expanding the company’s online, mobile, console, and casino presence, as well as bringing one of the most recognizable casual games brands to new and emerging platforms.

"Having known Coray for some time, we are thrilled to have someone of his qualifications spearhead our development efforts," said Eric Lamendola, General Manager for Slingo, Inc. "His deep ties to the game development community will help the company expand internal development efforts and continue to solidify partnerships with third-party game development studios."

Adds Seifert: "I am very excited at the opportunity to work with the billion-dollar Slingo brand and do so across such a large range of platforms and devices. The opportunity to develop innovative content on a global scale is significant, and I am eager to begin working on achieving that vision."

Most recently, Mr. Seifert was a designer and writer for THQ’s Kaos Studios – creators of critically acclaimed first-person shooters Homefront and Frontlines: Fuel of War – and has held a variety of key development positions within the casual, hardcore and social games sectors.

Seifert is the youngest member ever of the IDGA Board of Directors and has been a coordinator of the organization’s New Jersey chapter since 2002.

Mr. Seifert holds a degree in Communication Studies with a focus in Film & Television Production from The College of New Jersey, and has taught game design at Bloomfield College and the Stevens Institute of Technology.
