Japan Game To Take Over Oxford

April 13th 2006 sees Japan’s biggest ever selling PlayStation 2 game
released in the UK, and to celebrate HMV Oxford Street is turning Japanese
for the day!

To celebrate the launch of the eagerly awaited Dragon Quest: The Journey of the Cursed King, anyone who purchases a copy of the game between 12pm – 3pm will receive a one-off Manga portrait of themselves.

People in the store at this time will also be able to enter a draw to win a framed Dragon Quest poster signed by gaming legend Yuji Horii, a collectable Slime beanbag and Slime PlayStation 2 controller – not available in the UK.

Battle Monsters on the HMV Stage

The Dragon Quest Puff-Puff Girls will be in store for photo opportunities and to handout exclusive prizes to people who successfully battle some of the 300+ monsters featured in the game.

40 million people worldwide have played Dragon Quest so visit HMV on 13th April and be a part of gaming history.
