Digital Tables Launches Coin-Op games

Digital Tables, a company with a proven track record in the consumer sector, will launch its stylish, table-top video games to the coin-op industry at ATEI on Stand 641 and the Deith Group, Stand 1020.

The cocktail-style, retro-themed tables are proving a hit in traditional UK single site locations, as well as in pubs and bars which would not normally place coin-op product. Digital Tables has already signed an exclusive licensing contract with the Deith Group for SWP game content, as well as a supply deal with a major UK pub retail chain.

Digital Tables is showing two versions of the Retro Table Top at the London show: one containing specifically licensed nostalgic video titles, and the other offering the cutting-edge SWP suite, from the Deith Group. The table features retro gaming controls, as well as being fully touch-enabled. Going forward – it is fully linkable, can host tournament play and can be upgraded with new game content, either via CD ROM or by remote downloads.

The sit-down, cocktail table format is perennially popular but has rarely been used for single site locations," said Stephen Knipe, Managing Director of Digital Tables. "However, we have been told that the sleek design of the tables is exactly what operators are looking for to enhance some of their more stylish locations. In addition, they provide a valuable additional revenue source to traditional coin-op product."

With an expanding library of content, the Digital Tables platform will soon be available in other cabinet designs, such as a Pedestal and enclosed Bar system and Digital Tables also plans to offer both game formats in one unit.
