Blade Games Hires New Execs

Blade Games World, Inc. announced today the appointment of Justin Weng as Head of Product Development and Production and Tony Zander to the position of Senior Art Director. Both will begin immediately and be based in the Blade Games office in Shanghai, China.

"Both our external outsourcing business and our internal projects are growing to a size where we have begun to add new staff," said Tom Sperry, CEO of Blade Games World. "We are optimistic about both sides of our business and plan to see further expansion in the coming months."

Weng will manage the production teams in Blade's well-known outsourcing division and also help oversee an as yet unannounced internal project. Over the past 12 years Weng has held a variety of positions, most recently as lead Producer/General Manager at EA Pogo Shanghai. Prior to that, he held management positions at Shanghai Studio 5 Soft Co., Ltd, iQue Co., Ltd and Ubi-Soft Entertainmnet China Co., Ltd.

Zander joins the company with more than 18 years in the art direction field. Most recently, he held several technical art director and design director positions at Microsoft including various roles on MS Flight Simulator development teams. Zander will be leading the artistic vision for the outsourcing projects as well as the creation of assets for internal projects.
