This week for Shoujo Saturday I’m covering a series I found quite good, even if it got a bit confusing. It’s 3×3 Eyes by Yuzo Takada!

Plot Synopsis: Pai, a mysterious young girl, has travelled to Tokyo searching for an artifact, but shortly after she arrived, a thief snatched her backpack and cane from her. A teenage lad, Yakumo, tackled the crook and managed to get the pack back for her, though the thief escaped with the cane.

Plot: The plot is quite good, although somewhere in the middle it gets quite confusing for a bit. That isn’t to say it ruins the plot, it just gets a little odd and I can’t say anything more without spoiling major plot points.

Characters: There are so many characters in this series it’s a little ridiculous, but considering how long the series ran it’s not too surprising.

Art: The art is good, although since the series first started in 1987 it is a little dated.

Overall: This is a great series, well worth the long read it’ll take to get through.

For those who like: Urban Fantasy, Romance, Action, Magic, Great Plot, Amazing Cast of Characters.

Not for those who don’t like: Any of the above.
