This week for Sensate  Saturday I’m covering another One-Shot! It’s Bigger Hunter by Yugo!

Plot Synopsis: God appears among us once every 90 days… And those who issued oracles from God, as the family of God, are taken away by Him. The people call the family of god “Sun” and send them forth with shouts of encouragement. “Suns” are truly human vessels envied by all for having received the greatest glory… However, There was never the slightest hint of joy in the expressions of those taken by God.

Plot: The plot is pretty messed up, but it’s also great. I wouldn’t be surprised if this eventually got a serialization as it could definitely turn out to become an amazing series. That being said this is just a One-Shot so it definitely felt short.

Characters: Hiro is our lead male character and while I admire his courage and tenacity I don’t think he’s an amazing character. Rose, our female lead, on the other hand is a character that surprised me greatly. I enjoyed her a lot more than Hiro. The rest of the cast, small that it is, is great as well. Keio in particular is quite fun.

Art: I was surprised to realize that this wasn’t run in a Shueisha published serialization and was published by Square Enix instead. It definitely was one of the better looking One-Shots I’ve ever read.

Overall: A great One-Shot that any action fan will like, and it might become a fully serialized series eventually.

For those who like: Action, Drama, Violence, Great Artwork, Short Story, Great Cast of Characters.

Not for those who don’t like: Any of the above.
