Hey all, I’m back for this week’s Translation Necessary Thursday with the first volume in another series from one of my favorite Korean authors. It’s “Valhalla Saga Volume 01” by Chwiryong!
Plot: The plot is pretty interesting. Professional Gamer Lee Tae Ho dies during an esports tournament and is brought to Valhalla by a Valkryie to fight in a war. It’s a mix of Reincarnation and LitRPG, and I enjoyed the story quite a bit.
Characters: Lee Tae Ho is the main character, and the gamer who was brought to Valhalla. It’s actually pretty funny how quickly Lee falls for a Valkyrie named Heda, but it’s handled not too badly in the story. The rest of the characters are great as well, but this is just the first volume of many in a pretty long and interesting story.
Overall: It’s a great LitRPG/Reincarnation story that I enjoyed quite a bit. It wasn’t as good as some of the other works from Chwiryong, but it’s still pretty good, though.
For those who like: LitRPGs, Reincarnation, Romance, Action, and Adventure.
Not for those who don’t like: Any of the above.
