Hey all, I’m back with the sixteenth volume of Yuna’s journeys for this week’s Translation Necessary Thursday. It’s “Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear Volume 16” by Kumanano.
Plot: First off, check out some of our previous coverage of the series.
For today’s Translation Necessary Thursday, this volume starts off with some slice of life. But it does move on to Yuna having another adventure to a place she’s been meaning to head to partway through the volume, and with two tagalongs, Fia and Luimin.
Characters: We get to meet quite a few new faces in this volume which is great, and there’s also some old friends as well, which was fun. Honestly, it’s a fun volume for the characters.
Overall: An excellent sixteenth volume, although with pretty much no action. But that’s part of the charm of this series, it doesn’t need to be mud, blood, and gore to have a fun read.
