Hey all, I’m back for this week’s Synth Saturday with the second set of chapters in a Fic that centers on someone who is reincarnated as Brock from the Pokemon anime and games, who is left in charge of 9 younger siblings in addition to running the Pewter City Gym. It’s Chapters 6-10 of “Hard Enough-Pokemon SI” by Viva01.

Plot: Having just been publicly dismissed by Lance in his negative reaction to the Pewter City Gym, Brock must now weigh his response to the insult. This set of chapters is very fun as it introduces us as readers to the wider portion of Kanto’s Gym Leaders and their characters. I won’t spoil the surprises, but this is one heck of a set of chapters for this Fic and sets into motion a lot that follows.

Characters: We get to meet a few people from the Pokemon games that were expanded on in the anime, but I think I prefer the versions seen in “Hard Enough-Pokemon SI.” Surge is probably one of my favorite characters despite the anime making him out to be a complete ass.

Overall: A very entertaining second set of chapters that helps lay the foundation for future ones.
