Hey all, I’m back with the second entry in Jake and company’s adventures against the forces of Tartarus for this week’s Bookish Wednesday. It’s “Bonded Summoner Book 02” by JJ Bookerson.
Plot: This second entry begins shortly after Jake and crew finish their introductory trials and are visited once again by Odin. Honestly, this second entry is really where the story begins to take off since the first book was essentially the tutorial level. So, with stakes raised even further, this entry is quite fun. I won’t spoil the various surprises and twists, but I enjoyed this second entry even more than the first.
Characters: We get introduced to a new character in this entry named Berri, and there are a few others. I won’t say who the others are, but Berri was a fun character.
Overall: A great second entry in an interesting LitRPG series.
