Hey all, I’m back with a look ahead at the upcoming season for this week’s Anime Sunday. It’s my Most Anticipated Winter 2023 Anime!
Hero King: This is a reincarnation story that I’ve had the pleasure of reading the first volume from the original Light Novel of, and I enjoyed it enough that this has piqued my interest. It’s definitely not a typical reincarnation story though since it doesn’t deal with someone from Earth.
Saving 80k Gold: This is a more typical Isekai series, but I enjoyed the first volume of the Light Novel of this story as well, so again I’m looking forward to it.
Honorable Mentions:
Strongest Onmyouji: This got my attention because I saw it has an original source material called a Digital Novel, which is something I have not ever heard of. After I write this post, I’m going to be looking up exactly what the heck that is.
Nier Automata: An Anime I never expected, and probably won’t give much of a watch simply because I’ve heard the game is incredibly depressing, which is a Yoko Taro staple, apparently. Still, I might give the first episode a watch just out of curiosity if I don’t get distracted by something else.
Campfire Cooking: I enjoyed the original Light Novels here too but not as much as the other two, so I’m looking forward to seeing the Anime of this as well.
