This week on Anime Sunday I’m going to try something a little new. I’m going to talk about how I felt about Aldnoah.Zero and if it ended as well as it began.

Plot: I enjoyed pretty much every episode up until the very last one, as it seemed to be a stumble instead of the more graceful landing I was hoping for. The ending ended with pretty much very things resolved in ways that left me a little unhappy. I don’t really know what I was expecting to see, but it wasn’t what we got to actually see.

Art: Thankfully the artwork in this series stayed amazing throughout the entire run and I was very happy with it.

Music: I loved the music from this series, in fact as I’m writing this one of my favorite insert songs from the series came up in the playlist shuffle. The music for this series was awesome and it helps to lessen that stumble I mentioned above.

Overall: This a good series, if you can live with a slightly unsatisfying ending. Everything else is excellent, including animation and music.

That’s it for this week’s Anime Sunday!
