Peter Jackson Studio To Create Halo Game

Lord of the Rings director Peter Jackson is launching a new video game development studio called Wingnut Interactive. And he already has his first project according to Microsoft: creating one of two upcoming games set in the Halo universe. Bungie Studios, which created the original game is currently working on Halo 3, which will be the next title in the Halo franchise. Wingnut Interactive is scheduled to create the game after that. Japan To Enjoy PS3 Price Cut

Just two days after Microsoft announced a new high definition DVD player add-on for the Xbox 360, Sony has said it will slash prices on the PlayStation 3 to help it compete – but only for Japan. Sony President Ken Kutaragi said the move was in response to consumer complaints the upcoming console was too pricey in Japan.
