Whiptail to publish PsychoToxic

Whiptail Interactive, a cutting-edge game publisher with titles such as Postal 2 and Gangland (among others) already under its belt, announced today that it will publish PsychoToxic in North America and several European territories. Developed by NuclearVision Entertainment GmbH, Psycho Toxic shipped earlier this year in Germany where it enjoyed a warm reception from both press and consumers alike. Telltale Games, a new development studio in Northern California today outlined the company’s plans to re-energize the Adventure Game category from their San Rafael headquarters. Founded by industry veterans Dan Connors, Kevin Bruner, and Troy Molander, Telltale Games will focus on the under represented adventure game market. Vivendi Sells Off Knowledge Adventure

Vivendi Universal Games (VU Games) today announced the sale of its Knowledge Adventure educational software business, including its titles JumpStart, Mathblaster and others, to Knowledge Holdings, Inc., a company formed by Azure Capital Partners and Telesoft Partners, two Bay Area venture capital firms. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. VU Games will continue global sales and distribution responsibilities for Knowledge Adventure titles. Blizzard Wins Anti-Piracy Server Case

A federal district court in St. Louis, Missouri has found that members of the BnetD project violated Blizzard Entertainment's End User License Agreements (EULAs) and Terms of Use (TOU), as well as the provision of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) that prohibits the circumvention of anti-piracy technology and trafficking in such technology.
