MumboJumbo, a subsidiary of United Developers announced the release of The Hare and Tortoise, and educational title for Windows. It features a retelling of the well-known Aesop's fable, two activities and three games. All six components offer different ways for children to engage their imaginations and develop essential learning skills, including reading and listening and thinking and logic. SEGA To Co-Publish Matrix Online

Sega of America, Inc. and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, today announced an agreement to co-publish The Matrix Online, the first massively multiplayer online game (MMOG) based on Warner Bros. Pictures’ popular Matrix property. Under the terms of the worldwide exclusive deal, SEGA will manage distribution of The Matrix Online, while Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment will oversee content development and manage the live game operations. Both companies will supervise ongoing game development and marketing activities for the game. Hitachi To Sponsor CPL

Hitachi Global Storage Technologies was at E3 this week promoting their new gaming initiatives. Among them was the news that they have become a global sponsor of the Cyberathlete Professional League, one of the largest competitive gaming groups in the world. EA and Microsoft have struck an agreement that will allow players of EA SPORTS and EA GAMES titles to compete and play online through Xbox Live.
