New Final Fantasy MMO Entering Beta

Square Enix, Inc., the publishers of Square Enix interactive entertainment products in the Americas, announced today that Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn will enter the Closed Beta phase for the Windows PC on Monday, February 25, welcoming the most loyal fans into the fully-redesigned, massively multiplayer online (MMO) adventure.

To assist players quickly and easily assess their gaming PC’s hardware and performance, Square Enix has made the new Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn benchmark software, available today as a free download at na.finalfantasyxiv.com.

Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn is the first MMO to have been completely rebuilt from the ground up to improve all systems, gameplay and player experience. It will release this summer for Windows PC and the computer entertainment system.

Let’s hope this one turns out better than the previous game.
