Hey all, I’m back with more of Lee Tae Ho’s adventures for this week’s Translation Necessary Thursday. It’s “Valhalla Saga Volume 02” by Chwiryong.
Plot: This second volume continues after the first novel with Lee Tae Ho now basking in the glory of battles hard fought and in a relationship with a Valkyrie named Heda. Honestly, the plot from there just gets more and more odd, but it does fit the series perfectly.
Characters: Lee Tae Ho is the former esports tournament professional gamer who was brought to Valhalla in the first volume by a Valkyrie to fight in a war. We get to meet plenty of new faces in this entry. Honestly, the entire group of characters, newcomers included, are pretty fun, but the Valkyrie named Heda and Lee Tae Ho are easily the standouts still in this second volume.
Overall: A fun second entry in a great series. If you haven’t checked this series out yet, you really ought to.
