Hey all, I’m back for this week’s Synth Saturday with more chapters in a Fic that centers on someone who is reincarnated as Brock from the Pokemon anime and games, who is left in charge of 9 younger siblings in addition to running the Pewter City Gym. It’s Chapters 71-75 of “Hard Enough-Pokemon SI” by Viva01.

Plot: This set starts off with Brock training his Elite Pokemon, while dealing with the fact that someone seems to be spying on him during his Ace matches. Honestly, this set deals mostly with the fact that Brock is taking on tougher opponents and training his staff. I won’t spoil the story, some of which weren’t really surprises if you’ve been paying attention, but I did enjoy this set of chapters. It’s not exactly relaxed, but it’s not tension filled action either, at least for the most part.

Characters: We get to see a few new faces in this set of chapters, but saying who they are is definitely stepping into spoiler territory and I’m going to avoid that. That said, it was great to see Brock and Sabrina deepen their bond with one another, and it’s really clear how much Brock has changed Sabrina from what she was in the show.

Overall: A solid set of chapters.
