Hey all, I’m back with another Anime Sunday with this week being a look ahead to the new season. It’s my Most Anticipated Fall 2026 Anime.
A Tale of the Secret Saint: Another light novel adaptation, I wanted to give the original source material a read over but never found the time before writing this article. Seeing that it has an upcoming anime, I’ll be waiting to give it a look until I watch at least the first episode. Hopefully it’s interesting.
Nia Liston: The Merciless Maiden: This is a reincarnation story, and frankly I’m interested because the other part of the title, Kyouran Reijou, translates to brutal daughter. It caught my eye and then the subtitle really grabbed my attention with its mention of god slaying. I doubt it’s anything like Campione, one of the very first light novel series I’ve ever read, but the concept has stuck as something interesting.
The Prince of Tennis: This seems to be a true adaptation of the sequel manga that I read ages ago though I’ll admit I stopped reading it due to things happening like my new writing career, and how busy I was for those first three years of it.
Hopefully, this adaptation is a real one and not an OVA, and that it lives up to the original manga because it still remains as one of the more over the top and awesome sports manga ever.
