Sunday Gold is an extremely interesting title in that it combines elements that normally don’t go well together like point and click adventures, puzzling minigames, RPG character building and even turn-based combat. And yet, somehow, it all works in this stylish thriller.
Gollum is arguably one of the most important characters in the Lord of the Rings saga, and the prospect of having a title centered around him was an amazing idea. Unfortunately, The Lord of the Rings: Gollum is riddled with game-breaking bugs, dull gameplay and a host of other problems that sap all the fun.
This week Modern Gamer columnist Marie Brownhill felt like breaking something, and Ship Graveyard Simulator fit that bill nicely, tasking players to smash up decommissioned ships for fun and profit. Ship Graveyard Simulator has players dismantling ships, selling materials to vendors, hiring workers and more.

Wanted Dead is an action title that is marketed based on its over-the-top violence and combat, but it actually has a lot more to offer action RPGers including a detailed open world, impressive graphics, plenty of side quests and other things to discover.
Game Review- The Long Dark: Tales From the Far Territory - Signal Void
Hinterland Studio has split their frosty The Long Dark game into two parts, the story-focused Wintermute missions and the open world survival portion. Signal Void is the first major update to the new Tales From the Far Territory survival mode, and adds new tasks, locations and narrative content.
Anyone looking for entertainment this week without really having to think too hard should follow the example of Modern Gamer columnist Marie Brownhill and invest a few very peaceful hours in the charming world of Plantera 2: Golden Acorn.

Railway Empire 2 is a deep dive into the management of railroads during their golden age when they helped to tie together continents, supported thriving cities and ushered in the industrial revolution. This is a business sim made specifically for those who really enjoy all things trains and railroads.
