After months of calling their next generation console The Revolution, Nintendo announced today that they are officially changing the name to Wii. Apparently Wii is pronounced "We" which is supposed to show that anyone can play with the new console. Nintendo said that one of the reasons for the name switch was because "Wii" is easily recognizable in any language.
