Founded in 1997 by Nate Wooley and John Breeden II, Game Industry News is the oldest continuously running online publication that focuses exclusively on the video game industry.

Game Industry News publishes independent reviews, editorials, news, stock market reports, interviews and podcasts every week on our website. New content is posted daily. The free weekly email newsletter has gone out every Friday since 1998 to thousands of opt-in subscribers. Subscribers range from industry professionals to gamers hungry for cutting edge commentary and unbiased reviews.

Nate co-founded GiN back in 1997 and lead as its Publisher for 23 years. Sadly, he lost his years-long battle with cancer in the Fall of 2020. He will always hold a special place in our hearts, as well as on this page.
