Hey all, I’m back with the eighth entry in a fantasy series about the adventures of Asterios for this week’s Bookish Wednesday. It’s “Rise of the Weakest Summoner Book Eight” by J. R. Saileri.
Plot: This volume isn’t quite as strong as the last in that we don’t get as many answers to plot threads that have been around since the beginning, but it does help move things along for Asterios and his group back in their home plane. It also provides Asterios new goals to strive for, so it’s not terrible by any means.
Characters: We get to meet some new faces in this volume, with Althea being one of the standout ones in my opinion. The rest of the characters are as solid as ever.
Overall: A great eighth volume in this series.
