Chester & Morgan is a physics game where you pop balloons in order to have the target reach its destination. I had a code to play the first five levels free for this review.

The goal is to pop balloons attached to iron bars, which carry objects, to get a ball of yarn to Chester, a tan cat. There are also fish to collect for bonus points. Meanwhile, Morgan, a black cat, tries to take Chester’s ball of yarn.

Other features include: grappling hooks, which can assist in pulling a bar and balloons that, when popped, spawn two more balloons. There are also 16-ton weights, which makes the bar fall faster when a balloon is popped. There are even iron balloons, which can’t be popped, and black holes, which teleport the ball of yarn.

Once a level is complete, Chester cuddles with the ball of yarn after attacking it, and then a picture is taken for you to share on social media. This is a pretty cool little reward, especially if you happen to love cats or all things cute and cuddly.

There are options to replay the current level or you can choose to play the previous or next level. Replaying levels can earn higher scores. Chester & Morgan is available from the App Store for $0.99, and if you’re a physics game fan, then this is the cat’s meow.

Chester & Morgan earns a respectable 3.5 GiN Gems.
