Microsoft’s media briefing ahead of Gamescom 2014 came the shock announcement that Rise of the Tomb Raider will be an “Xbox exclusive”. As the follow-up game to the successful Tomb Raider reboot and Lara Croft’s latest adventure, this is a major coup for Microsoft and puts Sony on the back foot. Crytek and Microsoft Studios have announced that the Mars Chosen Pack, a DLC content pack for Ryse: Son of Rome, is now available for $8.99. It is also free for players who bought the Son of Rome Season Pass. The DLC offers new maps, new character skins and a cooperative gameplay mode that is being added to the system.
