Today, Frontier Developments announced that Season 3 of Elite Dangerous will kick off with an open beta for Beyond – Chapter One. Giving players a chance to shape the development of the game, the beta will be available from the in-game PC launcher starting January 25 prior to the launch of Chapter One in Q1 2018.
