This week for Sensate Saturday I’ve got another Quick Review. It’s Aphorism by Kujo Karuna!

Plot Synopsis: Naraka High School is a seemingly normal school. However, unknown to the public is the cruel truth of what really goes on in the school’s halls…

Plot: This series is pretty interesting, and while I know that the story is looking to head to a pretty overdone trope in recent years, I’m still hooked. I won’t go into details, because it’ll spoil you. That being said it did keep me intrigued and I don’t tend to enjoy this type of plot.

Characters: Rokudou is our main character and he’s a pretty standard male lead, not anything more than average. But he’s still got me hooked because of his actions in the chapter. Aira, our female lead, on the other hand is a much more interesting if only because she’s much more outgoing and outspoken than her male counterpart.

Art: The art is great, I was expecting this to be a Shueisha series, but it turns out to be yet another Square Enix publication.

Overall: This is definitely a more interesting story than it first appears to be, give it a shot. You might just end up getting as hooked as I did after this first chapter.

For those who like: Action, Drama, Romance, Slice of Life, School Life, Excellent Plot, Interesting Lead Characters, Fantastic Artwork.

Not for those who don’t like: Any of the above.
