This week for Bookish Wednesday I’m covering the fourth entry in the Greywalker series! It’s Vanished by Kat Richardson!

Plot Synopsis: Why did Seattle investigator Harper Blaine-as opposed to others with near-death experiences-become a Greywalker? When Harper digs into her own past, she unearths some unpleasant truths about her father’s early death…

Plot: This entry is all about dealing with some really significant plot threads that were left dangling in prior books, lots of it include questions we had of Harper’s past and this entry was pretty great. There are some really disturbing parts of this entry, but overall I enjoyed it. I probably will never listen/read it again, but it’s definitely an important entry in terms of plot.

Characters: We get to meet a few new characters, but most are some old familiar faces from the past. The newcomers are okay, but for the most part this is Harper’s show and about her past.

Overall: This is an interesting entry, and very important to the series, but it can be disturbing for some readers.
