This week on Anime Sunday I’m covering a series from a couple years ago. It’s Galilei Donna!

Plot Synopsis:Galilei Donna, set in 2061, is the story of the three Ferrari sisters—Hozuki, Kazuki, and Hazuki—descendants of Galileo Galilei who have completely different personalities and thus are constantly at odds with each other.

Plot: The plot is pretty good, but it’s not the best. I did really enjoy it quite a bit though. I can’t go into the why as it really spoils the story, but be prepared for a crazy ride.

Characters: The three sisters are all very believable, and it’s quite entertaining to see them get on each other’s nerves. The rest of the cast is also quite good, although it’s really about the sisters and their family.

Art: The art is very good, it was the thing that attracted me to the show in the first place and it’s quite good.

Music: I loved the musical score for this series, particularly the opening Synchromanica by Negoto.

Overall: This is a good series, give it a watch through as it’s only a 1 cour series.

For those who like: Sci-Fi, Mecha, Great Cast of Characters, Excellent Artwork, Fantastic Music, Good Plot.

Not for those who don’t like: Any of the above.
