DragonCon 2014’s Amazing Costume Parade

Marie Brownhill has covered every DragonCon for GiN over the past five years, and DragonCon 2014 was no exception. One of the many things that makes this convention so incredible is the HUGE emphasis on costumes and cosplay. There is even a parade that seems to bring out the entire city. Here are a few of the awesome costumes that Marie was lucky enough to run into.

Click on any of the photos to load a full-size version. Are you ready?

DragonCon is always about fans, and many of them like to produce funny costumes. Here, a down-on-his-luck homeless Darth Vader begs for change for a new Death Star. He was actually making money too!

We see the Adidas Storm Trooper every year. He's a DragonCon staple. But he's also a great guy. We snapped this right after he took the time to demonstrate his costume to a disabled fan, and quite frankly, that was made of win.
