DiRT 2 Added To Prize Pool

Tearing up the Earth from Malaysia to Monaco Codemasters' newest title, DiRT 2, is sure to please even the most demanding hardcore off-road racing fans. Codemasters has donated several copies of DiRT 2 for the PlayStation 3 to the GiN Prize Pool, where they can be picked up by a new lucky reader every single week.

Nate Wooley, the publisher of GiN, said that games in the prize pool are ones that we know our readers will love. "DiRT 2 is one of those titles where you can hop in and start really digging into the mud right away, get your adrenaline flowing and have a great time," he said. "But it also goes deeper than that with the ability to unlock some of the coolest licensed off-road vehicles on the planet in solo, multi-car and multi-class races. In short, DiRT 2 has something for everyone at every skill level."

DiRT 2 shipped in September on multiple platforms including the PS3, Xbox 360, Windows PC, Wii, PSP and the DS. It's rated T for Teen by the ESRB on the PS3, 360 and PC, E10+ on the Wii and PSP and E on the DS. Although anyone can jump right in and have a great time with the game, you can also really dig into DiRT 2 to adjust things like gear ratios and weight distributions of your vehicles. In short, DiRT 2 has something for everyone. And it looks amazing no matter what platform you play on.

Gameindustry.com gives away a prize every single week to subscribers of the free GiN Weekly Newsletter. And winners can pick any of the hundreds of prizes currently in the pool, including the brand new DiRT 2 game. Winners are announced in the newsletter.
