Connery Tackles Bond Role For Game

Electronic Arts (NASDAQ: ERTS) has shipped the latest installment in the widely successful James Bond videogame franchise, From Russia With Love, starring Academy Award-winner, Sir Sean Connery. The highly anticipated game is being released on the PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system and the Xbox video game system from Microsoft and available in stores now. A version for the Nintendo GameCube will be released in mid-November.

From Russia With Love, the videogame, is based on the classic Bond film from 1963 but features new plot twists, gadgets, weapons and characters as well as a dynamic multiplayer component. Sir Sean Connery, appearing in his first-ever videogame, lent his voice and likeness to the project. Also making their videogame debuts as original Bond girls are movie and TV star Maria Menounos and multi-platinum UK pop star Natasha Bedingfield.

"We think fans of the Bond videogame franchise will be very excited that we were able to bring back the original Bond, Sir Sean Connery, to lend his voice and help the development team tailor the game to his Bond style," said Jillian Goldberg, Vice President of Marketing for EA. "We are excited to give Bond fans of all ages an opportunity to experience the classic Bond film: From Russia With Love as a videogame."

Officially licensed by MGM Interactive, From Russia With Love was developed by EA's Redwood Shores, Calif. studio. This game has been rated T (Teen) by the ESRB. More information on the game can be found on the official website at www.007.ea.com.
