ROCK BAND 3 OUT THIS HOLIDAY

Although no official press release has been issued, Rock Band developers posted on their Facebook page that Rock Band 3 will be out for the holiday season.

The fate of the franchise had been somewhat in doubt (well, not really but at least the distributor was) because the distribution deal with Viacom lasted only though May. Everything seems to be smooth sailing now for RB3.

According to the Facebook post: “Rock Band Harmonix is developing Rock Band 3 for worldwide release this holiday season! The game, which will be published by MTV Games and distributed by Electronic Arts, will innovate and revolutionize the music genre once again, just as Harmonix did with the original Rock Band, Rock Band 2 and The Beatles: Rock Band. Stay tuned for more details!”
