This week for Translation Necessary Thursday I’m covering a series I read recently and found enjoyable. It’s Shura’s Wrath by Mars Gravity!

Plot Synopsis: To save his terminally ill little sister, Ling Chen enters a newly released virtual game world and joins a small gaming studio comprising entirely of women. From now on walking upon his path towards the pinnacle.

Plot: The plot is pretty good, and while I’ve only read about 75 Chapters of the series, it’s one of the better books I’ve read in a while.

Characters: Ling Chen is a major sis-con, but considering his Sister is terminally ill I can’t really blame him. The rest of the cast is small so far, but they are pretty good. Ling Chen is my favorite, mostly because of his inner running monologue when soloing that I find highly amusing.

Overall: This is one of the better VRMMO Chinese Novels I’ve read. Worth a read, but you may want to wait a few months to have more translated chapters to read.
