This week for Translation Necessary Thursday I’m covering a series I recently read and fell in love with. It’s Otomege Burikko: Child Chapter by Sakura Ageha!

Plot Synopsis:  The high school girl Manami who had fallen down the emergency stairs at school had, before she noticed, become a three year old in the world of an Otome Game. What’s more, that little girl was one of the rival characters that appeared in the game; the can’t-take-a-hint-burikko-type-rival daughter of a marquis family. What awaited her at the end was social obliteration. Though she did get a bad feeling about this… Aimi (now Camille) decided not to worry! It was a dream after all, so that had nothing to do with her. For now, she’s going to master magic! Hooray!

Plot: The plot is pretty good, and while this is just the introductory chapter it’s definitely worth reading still as it’s kind of funny and very enjoyable.

Characters: Camille, called the Queen of Hearts in the game, and Achille, the Jack of Hearts, are great main leads. Royce, the King of Hearts, on the other hand is hilariously a voyeur and sneak thief. I enjoyed the cast of characters immensely.

Overall: This is a great read and easily worth the time necessary to read.

For those who like: Body-swapping stories, Medieval Fantasy, Magic, Action, Romance, Comedy, Drama.

Not for those who don’t like: Any of the above.
