This week for Bookish Wednesday I’m covering the second entry in the Gabriel Allon series! It’s the English Assassin by Daniel Silva!

Plot Synopsis: Art restorer, Gabriel Allon, who also works part-time for ‘The Office’, a semi-official Israeli intelligence agency, accepts an assignment from an anonymous Zurich banker. Arriving at his villa, he finds the man’s murdered body.

Plot: The plot in this book is probably one of my favorite ones in the entire series, but that’s because of a certain few characters we get to meet in this book.

Characters: As always Gabriel is a badass, and Shamron is a hard ass. However my favorite character is probably Don Orsati. I’ll leave the why for you to find out.

Overall: This is an excellent sequel to the first entry and is probably one of my favorite books of all time. Definitely a must read.
