Ubisoft has released a new gameplay trailer for Assassin’s Creed Revelations and Ezio’s getting stabby with it. It’s slick with an amazing soundtrack (Ubisoft discovers dubstep)and as we’ve come to expect from the AC trailers, it leaves us wanting more. Gamescom: The Last Story Wii RPG Finally Coming to Europe

Nintendo has confirmed a European release for The Last Story and Pandora’s Tower. These two games are highly sought after by RPG fans and will finally be coming to the Wii in Europe in 2012. Whispered in the same reverential tones as Xenoblade Chronicles, The Last Story comes from the creator of Final Fantasy, Hironobu Sakaguchi and Pandora’s Tower offers more JRPG goodness. Gamescom: PS3 Price drop confirmed

Sony has confirmed a price drop for the PlayStation 3 to $249 or £199.99. The announcement came during Sony’s Gamescom press conference, in Cologne, Germany last night. But the price drop comes as no real surprise, as rumors have been circulating for some weeks.With a strong line-up of games coming to PS3, this makes the console a more attractive purchase for Christmas, so let the battle commence. Gamescom: Sony confirms PS3 3D monitor for Europe

Europe’s 3D fans had something to cheer about last night, when Sony announced that its 3D monitor will be available this Autumn. The monitor was announced at E3 and is Sony’s affordable alternative to a 3D TV. It also includes Sony’s Simulview technology, which allows to players to see two different screens. This means multiplayer without splitscreens. The announcement came during Sony’s Gamescom press conference confirming a price of €499 (around £440), complete with two pairs of 3D glasses. Gamescom: Sony wows with Unchartered 3

Sony’s Gamescom conference focused heavily on PlayStation Vita, but it was Unchartered 3: Drake’s Deception that really stole the show. Unchartered is always a crowd and a critic pleaser and this trailer just proves that the continued focus on great characters, setting and action, supported by beautiful graphics and top notch voice acting is a winning formula. Gamescom: Assassin’s Creed to hit Vita

Ubisoft is just one of the third party publishers supporting the launch of Sony’s PlayStation Vita. Assassin’s Creed is one of the biggest titles to be heading to the handheld. Ubisoft also announced Rayman, Lumines, Dungeon Hunter Alliance and Michael Jackson: The Experience. The PlayStation Vita is Sony’s new handheld and the spiritual successor to the PSP.
