Spielberg to Direct Halo Movie?

Not for the first time, director Stephen Spielberg has been linked to a Halo movie. This time, a translated French press release is the source and states, "A film adaptation is set in 2012. It will be conducted jointly by two heavyweights of American cinema: Steven Spielberg and Dreamworks." The news came in a French press kit for the new book Halo: Crytum. HALO Evolves

I reviewed Halo: Combat Evolved for the Xbox, so naturally it has fallen to me to review the PC release of Halo. I still play halo for the Xbox occasionally, and I still think it is one of the top five, if not the best game to come out for the Xbox. A ring world, the concept first mentioned in the Ringworld series by Larry Niven, is a ring band, or thin donut shaped world were the cities and population resides upon the inner surface.
