OneBigGame Makes 100k For Charity

OneBigGame (http://onebiggame.com), the non-profit publisher of videogames, today announces its results for 2010, the year it officially started its non-profit publishing operations. During the year, OneBigGame made more than $100,000 profit, with no less than 96% being donated to and evenly divided between OneBigGame’s two charity partners, Save the Children and Starlights Children Foundation. Viva Media Gets Linda Hyde Rights

Viva Media and Teyon inked an agreement to publish digitally and in North American retail over several platforms the Linda Hyde series of hidden object adventures. The first game in the series, Linda Hyde: Vampire Mansion is scheduled to launch in April 2011. Viva Media CEO Carlo Voelker commented, "We are very excited about this series of games and being able to deliver it across a variety of platforms." CCP Games Expanding

Georgia Governor Nathan Deal announced today that CCP Games, the Reykjavik, Iceland-based digital entertainment developer, will relocate its CCP North America headquarters from Gwinnett County to the City of Decatur in DeKalb County. This move is expected to create 150 new jobs over three years, bringing the company’s U.S. staff total to 300 by 2013.
